Where are you from and how has being there affected your creativity?
I am from Va (757). Living in this area it helped me develop a third eye. Because in my opinion there isn’t much here when it pertains to photography. I had to develop a eye so that I can make basic shooting grounds into something a ordinary person may not see.

Explain what initially got you into shooting?
In high school I had took a digital photography class, and although we learned the basics of shooting with a DSLR, we mainly focused on learning photoshop, so after the class was over I still wanted to shoot so I went out and bought my own camera. Because taking photos made me realize there is a different world out there when you look through the lens of a camera.

Explain what does an average day look like for you?
A average day is basically waking up on campus because I live in the dorm at NSU. I’ll head to class, after classes are over I’ll link up with my team members (RxreAllure). Most of the time we’ll discuss more ideas for music or visuals for upcoming songs. Sometimes ill shoot, but wherever I go I always have my camera with me.

What things do you look at or watch for inspiration?
A lot of the times for visuals I’ll watch some of my favorite artist videos on youtube to get some ideas, and for photos it’s really what comes to my mind. Sometimes I’ll look through instagram and browse my favorite photographers page to get ideas. And I’ll look at my previous work to see if I see something different.

What is a quote or motto that you live by?
Stay humble, Always stay true, and Hard work never goes unnoticed.

What camera setup do you currently use (camera, lens, other accessories, etc)?
Currently I shoot with a Nikon D3300 because I’m saving up for a Nikon D7200, the main lens I use is a 35mm f/1.8 Prime Lens, and when recording video I use my tripod or Glidecam because I am currently saving up for a DJI Ronin M.

What do you specialize in or what do you enjoy shooting the most and why?
I love shooting in low light settings and dark settings with one bright light. Because its just something about how the light covers most of the subject, but you can still see the outline of the subject. Also I love shooting street photography, because there are many ways you can approach it and it always has a story to tell.

Since we believe that music is the center around all things creative, what are your top 3 music albums, and what about those albums that gets you in a creative zone?
Awwwwww this is a hard one! But as of right now these are my top 3, because there always changing, so I’m not gonna name them in order, Kanye West – My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy, Drake – Views, and Tory Lanez – I Told You. These are my top 3 right now, because yea I listen to lyrics but I’m big on production. With these albums I can just close my eyes and escape into another world, and also for the hype tracks I can bop my head and not care who sees me. But it puts me in a creative mood because the production just helps me think on another level.

Who are some shooters that you follow and what do you admire about their work?
Dan Folger, Orli Arias, and Spudd Mckenzie. They each tells stories with their work. DF can take a concert picture and while you look at it, you can almost see yourself at the show or behind the camera. OA travels with artist and all over the world and he catches a lot of street photography which is something I wanna do for the rest of my life, and Spudd captures the craziest videos, I really began to be a fan after watching the video he did for Treez Lowkey (DOA). It was kind of like a series because a story is being told so I’m still waiting on the next video but his style is raw and very street/urban.

What is one tangible piece of advice that you would give somebody who has just started shooting? (besides shooting more)
When you think your work isn’t good enough or you just want to give up, DONT! Ive been there. Just keep positive because if you truly love shooting you will never lose that love for it, and remember stay true to yourself.

Random Question: Which celebrity do you feel is your spirit animal?
I think my celebrity spirit animal is Rockie Fresh. He creates dope work and is a very humble person.

What is next for you?
Whats Next? Continue with school. Also continue these visuals for our team RxreAllure because we have a lot of amazing music! And continue my involvement with the Traptastic team, because they have showed nothing but love and support! (Shoutouts out to Rod Baby and Sean).
